This was my first year to run the Christmas 10K on the 21st. I ran it with some good friends from church. It was extremely chilly and somewhat challenging running in muddy snow. Half of our race was uphill. So, part of the race was on pavement and the other was on trail roads. It was a little strange that none of the roads were even paved; however, the race was still a lot of fun. There was Santa, REAL reindeer, costumes, music and hot chocolate before the race and some nice warm soup and bagels waiting for us when we were finished. Some of the people living in the houses on the route played Christmas music and rang some bells for us, helping us all get in the Christmas spirit that cold morning. We definitely want to make this a yearly tradition. It was such a fun event and definitely family friendly!!!! Thanks guys!

Getting Crafty!
Cohen has been able to enjoy many crafts these last couple of months. Between Wilma and mommy, he gets to do some fun things. We are so grateful to have Wilma to help out with our babies when we need her. She is so good to them. Here are just a few crafts that Cohen has been working on:
A Happy Thanksgiving!
A Happy Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for our little family and have so very much to be thankful to our Heavenly Father for. We are truly blessed. Here are some pictures of our happy Thanksgiving:

Trey Now Ten Months?!
I am trying so hard to stay caught up with this little man. He is now ten months. Where does the time go? Trey is getting to be such a big boy and he is so fun. We love this little man so much!! Here is the update on Trey-by:
- First Thanksgiving November 28, 2013
- Stood by yourself for tiny minute somewhere in the week of November 29, 2013
- Some additional foods you started this month were:
- Kiwi
- Kale
- Spinach
- Green Chard
- Brewer's yeast
- First tooth
- Second tooth
Mommy's Notes to Trey: Well, you were sleeping through the night for 3-4 weeks. Then, you started the actual teething process and that ended that real fast. In fact, we found out that you don't do to well with teething. You now wake me up 2-4 times a night depending on how you are feeling. Mommy hopes these teeth get in here REAL FAST. :) You absolutely love to eat big boy finger foods. You do really well "gumming" everything; however, with two teeth now you are eating awesome. Yay! You are a really good eater. There really isn't anything mommy can think of that you don't really like, except avocado. You will still eat a little bit, but you definitely do not love it. You love to listen to music and dance. You think Cohen is the best thing ever. We have noticed that you have a little temper whenever you don't get what you need. You clench your fists and your teeth and start grunting and screaming. Look out!!! People are now starting to call you a little girl almost every time; therefore, a haircut will be coming soon. We love your long hair but I can't wait to see you with a hair cut either. You do love to give mama kisses and that absolutely melts her heart. You are at such a fun stage and we love you to pieces treyby baby...

The Great Treasure Hunt
This is Cohen the pirate. Daddy drew a map and sent this pirate on a hunt for a great treasure. One by one, this pirate found pieces to this map that led him to his pirate booty. He was absolutely elated. Cohen was the happiest pirate around. His loot consisted of a pocket rocket, bubbles, grenade, etc... (Some of these things were later used to kill zombies and monsters)
Cohen the Pirate. Arrrrghhhhh!
The clever pirate put the pieces together and discovered the treasure hidden in this mysterious couch! (Such a talented Daddy)

Baby Trey is Nine Months!
I simply cannot keep up with this NINE month old now. Wowsers! There are lots of posts to come. Here is an update on little baby Trey...
- First Halloween on October 31st. Cohen was Jake and Trey was scully from Jake and the Neverland Pirates
- Trey's second cold November 6, 2013 :(
- At 9 Month Appointment:
- 16lbs 9 1/2oz= 5%
- 27 1/2 inches= 14%
- 46cm head= 74%
- Started waving sometime during week of November 3rd
- Started pumpkin and split pea (probably forgot to write down more of them)
Notes to Trey from Mommy: Well, still no teeth. I cannot believe it. I can FINALLY say that you are starting to sleep through the night consecutively. It seemed rather strange, but you actually started to when you caught that yucky cold. You still haven't had your first hair cut yet. Everyone is starting to call you a little girl :) We will see if we can last until your first birthday. You push walk toys and cruise all over the place. You hate to have your bum changed. IT is almost impossible to change you or get you dressed. You absolutely love to take baths, splash and scream. You also started to say "ma ma" this month :) Everyone always comments how happy of a baby you are. We love you!!!!!!!
All About Scotty!!!
Yes, November 3rd, we get to celebrate the birth of a special man in our lives, our Scotty. What a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend.
We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for blessing our lives by putting you in it. We hope you had a special day. We love you to the moon and back times 792 :)
We threw him a little party with just our little family. We had some home made carrot cake and opened some presents...Cohen and Trey got Daddy a new briefcase.
A special night with a special guy!!!!!
