Dinosaurs!!!!!!!!!

Cohen and Mommy got to have a date together the other day!  We went to the expo to see DINOSAURS! Cohen was beyond elated.  He woke up at 6:30 that morning and said, "Okay, mom, it is time to get up and go!"  It was extremely fun.  Cohen got to walk amongst the dinosaurs, jump on dinosaur inflatables, ride a triceratops, paint a t-rex on his face, dig for fossils and got a new dinosaur from the toy shop.  He was on cloud nine!  We even ran into Warren and Racer, who got to enjoy the same experience!

I think he was a tad bit nervous when he saw how big the dinosaurs were and that they were actually moving.  It was rather dark in there, too.

It looked like this poor dinosaur got attacked by the T-rex.  It was even oozing blood :)

It was hard to get good pictures since they were actually moving and roaring.

Cohen wanted to known exactly what that carnivore was eating.

He was so funny.  He wouldn't pose in front of a carnivore.  I don't think he completely trusted that they wouldn't eat him.  We only posed in front of herbivores :)

Dinosaur inflatables. So excited to go; however, he didn't last long.  He said there were just too many kids.  One time, he came out crying saying someone wouldn't play with him and pushed him :(

 Riding the triceratops...
Cohen liked the guy as well.  It wouldn't be because he gave Cohen a free ride ;)

Face painting!!! Cohen, the T-Rex!

Then, he got eaten by a T-Rex.  BUT, nothing gets him down.  He's still smiling!

Fossil digging.  Fun, but would have been more fun to be able to jump inside that sand box.

Happy Easter!!

What a great Easter these Larsens' had!  The Thursday before Easter, Cohen invited some friends over for a big Easter egg hunt.  He was so excited and had so much planned out.  Kaison, Heston and Henley got to come over for the big shin dig.  As soon as they got there, he invited them to go see our neighbors baby goats.  It was well played because the last mama goat just had her twins within the hour.  They were so stinking cute.  Then, they got to bust cascarone eggs on their heads.  Cascarones broken on one's head is rumored to bring one good luck.  I think they just really liked to break something.  Next, they all got to hunt some easter eggs.  Finally, they went inside for some cupcakes and play.  Cohen had so much fun with his friends.  Mommy completely forgot to take pictures after she took these before his friends came...whoops!

Waiting for his friends...

The Saturday before Easter, Cohen and mommy dyed some eggs.  Daddy was playing some much needed golf time and Trey was taking a nap.
Cohen's ready!!

Trey woke up and got to color on some eggs!

My handsome boys.  Do you see that pose by Cohen?  Just like his Daddy....

Finally, it was Sunday.  Finally, it was Easter day!  The Easter bunny did not come before church.  I think it was because he didn't want to take away from the true meaning of Easter. ;)

The boys cracking up at each other during Easter lunch!

 The Easter bunny finally came!

So, after church, mommy went outside to see if the Easter bunny hid the eggs (she didn't try to hide them).  However, as mommy was walking and looking at the grass, a stinking wasp stung her toe.  WOWZERS!  She has never been stung before and was in some extreme pain.  Therefore, Daddy and the boys went on their egg hunt without the mama :(

Poor Trey fell, but he falls with style :)

We hope everyone had a great Easter.  "I know that my redeemer lives. What comfort this sweet sentence gives! He lives, he lives who once was dead. He lives, my ever-living head!"

First Day of Preschool!

Where does the time GOOO?!  I cannot believe I completely skipped over February and March.  Not like me :( Our lives are just too busy, and..............They just got BUSIER! Cohen is now doing preschool two days a week at Nampa Christian Schools. April 3rd was his first, big day.  Cohen goes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30.  He was so excited to go and meet some new friends.  He wants friends oh so very badly.  Cohen's teacher is Miss Jamie.  She is so bubbly and seems wonderful.  They give out a newsletter to the parents weekly so we know exactly what he is working on and learning.  He even gets to learn about the savior at school.  I thought it was just too cute that they even have a science class in there.  This last week they learned about ponds and the animals that live there.  Our little boy is growing up. We sure love you, Cohen!
