Finally!! The Tawnya, Mike and Family Reunion!! A Day at the Zoo!

Oh my! We have waited for this vacation for sooooooo long! We finally got to see Uncle Mike and meet Aunt Megan and Cousin Gavin!  We met them at Grandma and Grandpa Mangelson's in Utah in September.  It was so wonderful to get together with everyone.  Mike has a wonderful family!  Grandma took us to the Hogle Zoo for one of the many fun activities together.  Here are some of our memories of that wonderful week together:

Uncle Mike and Gavin (Sad at the moment)

Grandma and Trey. Grandma helped with our crazy munchkin a lot! Thank goodness!

 Cohen and Daddy

I hope Gavin had fun with his cousins.  Trey was a little rough with him :/

Summer Happenings!

Here are a few thing the boys have been up to this summer:

So, Cohen got this butterfly house from Grandpa Hartshorn for his birthday.  This thing is so amazing.  We received our caterpillars in the mail and grew them into beautiful monarch butterflies.  These are pictures of us setting them free.  Cohen was excited to set them free.  He really loves bugs and hates the thought of any of them dying.  However, once we set them free he says, "Now how are we going to get them all back?"  Haha, love that boy!

Now he is sad they are all gone :)

Here is Trey riding there little 4-wheeler.  He can finally get it going. He barely reaches the pedal.

Daddy gave Cohen these cool glasses so he can read at night.

They love sitting at the table together to enjoy their snacks. Who wouldn't love zucchini muffins, fresh peaches and milk?

Our Little Cohen is Four!!!

Oh my goodness. We now have a four year old.  We celebrated in the prehistoric age with dinosaurs.  I reserved a place at the park in Nampa, Idaho.  Then, we just decided to make a meal out of it and make it a welcome party for Scott's parents also.  Dan, Crystal, Warren, Kelly, Spencer, Aspen, Racer, Vince, Skylar, and Grandma and Grandpa Larsen were there with us.  We had a dinosaur egg hunt, pin the skull on the skeleton, and some fun swimming to enjoy on top of the great company and food.  Below are some pictures of the special day:

It looked awesome even though the wind was totally fighting against all my decorations!

Pin the skull head on the dinosaur skeleton.  I think Cohen peeked!

Present time! Thanks everyone!

So excited to have everyone sing to him.  Of course, he was ready for the cake and ice-cream as well :)

Special thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Larsen for making his T-Rex cake!

Swimming time!

Ha! Only Trey :)

Happy Birthday, Cohen! We love you so much.  You are so special. Cohen loves dinosaurs. He loves to make people smile and laugh.  He really doesn't like to learn at the moment.  Fun is all he is concerned about right now.  Sharing and singing time at church aren't quite his favorite things either.  He is a rather sensitive little guy with a huge heart.
