Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!  Cohen and I were so excited to spend Christmas with Daddy and family!  What a blessing!  We got to celebrate Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Larsen, Adam and Tera's family, and of course, ALL of our family!  Yay!  Even Kanobe and Layah got to have most of their family back together (Kanobe, Layah, Lilly, Meggie, and Goose)!  We started off Christmas morning getting ready for church and waiting for Cohen Monster to wake up to see what goodies Santa brought!  Cohen finally woke up and got to open Santa's gifts!  He got a farm set with so many farm animals, a barn, a tractor, hay, animals sounds, etc...We are talking the whole works!  He loved it!  However, he was SOOO excited to find marshmallows, bugs and balls in his stocking as well!  Everyone who knows Cohen well knows he LOVES animals, bugs, balls and of course, mommy (haha) :)  He also got a toothbrush and some books, they just weren't as high on the thriller list!  Santa was too kind to bring mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa stockings too!  It is still so fun to look in the stocking even after all these years!  After the Santa gifts, we headed to sacrament meeting at the Santaquin 10th ward!  Then, we came home and had the rest of our Christmas with everyone!  We had so much fun watching everyone open the gifts we got them!  Scott and I just absolutely love to GIVE to people (we hope Cohen will love it just as much too)!  It brings absolute joy into our lives!  However, even with all the gifts and giving Christmas brings, we can't forget the real reason for the season!  This season is all about Jesus Christ and the gift of his birth, life here on earth, atonement, and resurrection!  What a loving Heavenly Father to send his only begotten son to this earth to ultimately atone for our sins and yet, be resurrected so we all may have eternal life and become like our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ!  Now, that is priceless and the ultimate gift!!! Merry Christmas!!!!!  Here are just a few of many wonderful moments we captured on Christmas day!

Have you figured out Cohen is in the "I don't want to look at the camera to save my life" phase?  It drives mommy CRAZY!!  It is fun to see all of his many facial expressions though!!

I love this picture...too bad Penelope couldn't sit in this picture with them! (Lilly,Troy, Meggie, Goose, Kanobe, Tanner, Layah, and Cohen)

What's New??!!

Chaos is the new word to desrcibe this Larsen family's life. No, not really, but it sure does feel like it at times. Well, Scott finally did it! He is finally finished with law school, and hopefully school for the rest of his life (at least for now anyways)!!! Cohen and I left Ohio at the end of October to stay with my father and Laura until Scott officially finished school in December. Their generosity allowed us to save money, spend quality time with family and avoid more high rent (month-to-month) payments. We were there for about six weeks. Scott picked us up on his way from Ohio and we were then Utah bound. Another new adventure for Cohen monster and I. Next stop, Santaquin Utah, to spend the next 8 weeks or so with more grandpas and grandmas. Scott got to spend Christmas with us in Utah, but left that evening to start classes the following Monday in Idaho. Yep, more classes. For the next two months, Scott gets to take classes to help him prep for the dreaded, monstrous BAR exam! Are you keeping up with this crazy story?? Sometimes, I don't know if I am! Anyways, Scott takes the BAR exam February 28th and 29th in Idaho. Then, hopefully he can find a job and a place for us to live so we can get our lives back on track! In the meantime, while poor Scotty is having to work so hard to prepare for this exam, Cohen, the puppies, and I are having a wonderful time spending time with family. Oh, and mommy is loving being a stay-at-home mommy! Also, we may have the opportunity to go help Marty and Beccah out when their new baby comes in February. Yet again, another new adventure for Cohen and I that will be highly anticipated!!! As always, our thoughts and prayers are with daddy wishing him the best in February! February is a big month for our family!!!!  Here are some pictures of our journey since the Larsens have left Ohio...

During the stay at Papa and Grandma Hartshorn's, Cohen got to experience the wonderful farm life!  He absolutely, positively LOVED it!  He is just like his mommy, there is a special place in her heart for animals, cowboys, and cowgirls!  Cohen got to go to a cattle sale for the first time, go sledding for the first time, got bilateral ear infections for the first time, and had his first sleep over at Aunt Shawna and Uncle Kerry's house!  Here are some sledding pictures of us.  He got to go twice, once with me and Papa, and then again once Scott came to pick us up!

Papa is so stinking clever...he made the best sled out of a lid and padded it with a rug and blanket!  Perfect size for Cohen Monster!  He absolutely loved it and wasn't scared at all!

Lilly's paws got really cold :)

We also had somewhat of a little Christmas get together at Papa's before we took off to Utah!  We got to spend time with Papa, Grandma, Uncle Kelby, and Aunt Chelsea!  Cohen, of course, was EXTREMELY spoiled by everyone!  He is so lucky to have such great people in his life who loves and adores him!!!  Here are just some pics of our Early Christmas in Colorado!!!

Aunt Chelsea, Uncle Kelby, Grandma Laura, Cohen and Daddy!

One of Cohen's favorite people, PAPA!!!!

Aunt Chelsea and Uncle Kelby got Cohen some KU pajamas and that adorable puppy chair!

Papa and Grandma Laura got Cohen some cows! He loves COWS!!! MOOO!

Papa and Grandma Laura got Cohen Bullseye and those adorable Roper boots!  Pretty Snazzy!!!

Our journey in Utah is still in the process of being completed; however, Cohen is sure loving spending time with his cousins and grandparents!  Not to mention, mommy loves the interaction it is allowing him to have since he is in the I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SHARE point in his life :)

Troy, Tanner, and Cohen watching some cartoons!  Troy is so funny!!

Stay tuned to some more of our adventures!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Late Halloween from the Larsens!!!

Well, Cohen and I arrived in Colorado right before Halloween!! Halloween was a great way to start off a wonderful stay with my father and Laura for six weeks! Because we were moving right before Halloween, my mom was very gracious in helping me get Cohen Monster's Halloween costume all ready! I must say, our little Jedi was awesome!!! He was so dang cute! I do believe Cohen's thick head of hair helped him play the part so well! Cohen thought trick-or-treating was pretty neat!! His face was so priceless as it lit up because people were just generously dropping candy into his bucket EACH AND EVERY house we visited. It was so fun to see and visit with those whom we hadn't seen in so long! The night ended with us stopping at grandma and grandpa's to visit everyone and show off Cohen's Jedi skills! He loved defeating Aunt Shawna with his light saber!! Happy Late Halloween!!! Let the force be with you this upcoming year! :)
